As men, we all recognize that life in the world is tough. As the spiritual leader of your family, you undoubtedly feel stress in leading them in godliness. When it comes to the workplace, we all struggle to live a life that honors Christ in the midst of an environment that is generally opposed to truth and holiness. Overall, we all feel the deep sense of brokenness that comes from seeing the lostness of our friends and family members.

The Men's Ministry at Florida Gardens exists to help men grow in their walk with the Lord Jesus Christ and to become the spiritual leaders that God desires us to become. The ministry has the following goals:

• Provide opportunities for men to be encouraged in their faith
• Provide opportunities for men to be equipped for acts of service
• Provide opportunities for men to build friendships with other men
• Provide opportunities for men to have fun!

In order to reach these goals, the Men’s Ministry participates in the following events:

• Monthly Breakfasts: serve as a time of fellowship and Christian growth. We often have a guest speaker at these breakfasts who will challenge us in an area of spiritual growth and ministry.
• Regular Service Projects: allow men to go into the community and help others who have needs. Projects have included house repairs and painting, helping others load and move from home to home, and working with the youth to beautify someone's house.
• Regular Outings: give men a time of fun and Christian fellowship with other men. Events have included Marlins' games, canoeing, putt putting, fishing, and bowling.
